To do extensive restoration while access to this historic New York City landmark building in Manhattan was limited due to the proximity of surrounding structures and business needs.

Additionally, hotel leadership wanted to ensure that guest experiences and functions remained unaffected, and adjacent Fifth Avenue luxury retailers also needed protection from customer inconvenience during the work.

The team developed a specialized rigging strategy that installed beams within the structure, extending through windows to accommodate spatial constraints. Close coordination with the Landmarks Preservation Commission ensured all materials and procedures received approval.

Operations were aligned with hotel scheduling to preserve guest satisfaction. Daily meetings with Fifth Avenue store managers maintained diplomatic relations and prevented retail disruption throughout the project.
